Myanmar announces new licensing fees for import-export activities

On 8 October 2025, the Myanmar Department of Trade, Ministry of Commerce (“MOC”) issued Export/Import Bulletin No. 6/2025, setting out revised service fees for trade-related services. The revised fees came into effect on 15 October 2025.

Applications to renew an export/import licence submitted more than 14 days after its expiry date will not be processed. Applications to amend a licence must be submitted in advance of the relevant goods’ arrival at Myanmar ports or airports.
